The Lazarus Protocol
A suspicious death in Washington, ruled an accident.
A team dispatched into hostile territory.
A covert agent, bruised and hunted, but very much alive.
The CIA saved Stephanie-Jo’s life. Now she owes them her soul, and there’s no way out. When a private black-ops team becomes her only chance at survival, the mission shifts to a battle of wills. These men answer to no government, only to each other, and they’re hunting the same device she’s been sent to secure. Steph’s handlers don’t accept failure. She has to complete the mission—or die trying.
Adam Helton was declared dead by the Army years ago. Now he leads a team racing the clock to retrieve sensitive technology from a hostile zone, unaware of what will be unleashed if they fail. He’s always risked everything, but this time the stakes are different. Caught between the loyalty he lives by and the oath he swore a long time ago, Adam must risk it all if any of them are going to make it out intact.
With a ruthless group of true believers closing in and an enemy who always seems one step ahead, Division Zero faces its greatest test yet. Every thread they pull in this global conspiracy only reveals another, placing them squarely in the crosshairs as they race to stop an ally from making a catastrophic mistake.
The greatest threat isn’t always the one coming for you.
Sometimes it’s the one standing beside you.
*The new action-packed espionage thriller series from Lisa Phillips features a deadly conspiracy that stretches across the whole series, plenty of threads to keep you reading late into the night, and happily ever afters in each book.*

Cheryl Coulter –
Fast paced, action packed, intriguing, great characters and story line

I felt like I was riding the roller coaster Medusa that is at Kings Island as I was reading this book. Up, down, unside down, twisting right then left. This story lasts much longer than Medusa but it is worth the ride and you don’t have to go up in the air to take the ride. I loved all the action, suspense, mystery, etc. It’s hard to know who are the good guys/girls. Does the Division Zero team succeed in their mission??? The answer only comes from reading this book!!! I received a copy from the publisher. This is my honest, unsolicited opinion.

This Christian romantic suspense is full of twists and edge of your seat moments. I enjoyed the characters, and would highly recommend reading this first book in a new series.

If you love action, intrigue, and excitement this book delivers. Strong characters and bonds forged in fire are the bedrock of the story and I was all in from page one.
It took me a while to figure out all the connections between some of the players but in working it out—in between all the action—I found myself investing myself in the outcome of their lives: in struggles, faith, and romantic entanglements.
Only Lisa Phillips could combine the best elements of romantic suspense and step up the game with governments gone amuck, an AI that’s learning the actions of our heroes, and danger around every corner. What a ride!
I don’t really have the words to explain the intricate details of the plot but suffice it to say “The Lazarus Protocol” is an excellent book that doesn’t just satisfy you at the end but also sets up anticipation for the rest of the series.
I can’t wait!
