Fallout was an amazing suspense read. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Destiny Reed is recovering from having been abducted in Africa and has started working for Vanguard. She is carrying a secret that eventually will be revealed. When it comes time, Destiny finds herself stepping up to a temporary leadership position.
Jasper Hollingsworth, a police detective, has had a crush on Destiny for a while and his feelings for her grow the more time they spend together. He also has family dynamics.
The police and Vanguard are tracking down a dangerous kingpin who is attempting to take over Benson. New characters (the Famous Ones) are introduced. I loved the suspense, the chatter and dynamics of the Famous Ones which had me laughing, and the romance between Jasper and Destiny.
